I am currently babysitting my 4 years old nephew whom acts more like a 2 year old, like he's not ready to have a baby brother/sister, which in fact, he already has 1 baby sister and another baby coming in 8 months.
For that, his mother is not feeling well and can't afford to entertain his whining and yearning for the moment, so here he is, in my room talking (or more like mumbling) to himself, playing with my stuffs, pulling my curtains and comforter.
OK, one of my long-term target in life was, if i'm not married by 27, i'll be considering adopting a child by 30. I was expecting a well-mannered child, whom listen to instructions, always smile and make my day, and only cries when he/she gets hurt.
But looking at this child, my nephew, kicking my back while i'm writing this really got me thinking, am I for real...Can I possibly get a well-mannered child to adopt? OR...Maybe I should ask, can I possibly raise a child to be at his best manner?
